Report illegal content
Any individual or entity can report content they consider illegal. A LazyHead account is not required.
Where to send it
Send your notice to legal@lazyhead.at — or use the form below if you prefer. Both routes reach us.
With an account it’s faster: use “Report” right on the vacancy or in the chat.
What your notice should contain
- Where the content is: link to the vacancy or profile, company name, time of a message
- Why you consider it illegal — with a sufficient explanation
- An email address for our reply (not required for reports concerning sexual offences)
- A confirmation that your statements are accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge
What happens next
- We confirm receipt by email without undue delay.
- We review the notice carefully, without arbitrariness and not purely automatically.
- We decide promptly — usually within 7 days. If it takes longer, we tell you why.
- Possible measures: removing the content, limiting its visibility, restricting or suspending an account, notifying the authorities.
- We communicate the decision and its reasons — to you and to the person concerned.
Appeal
If you disagree with our decision — as the reporter or as the person concerned — you can appeal informally to legal@lazyhead.at within six months; the case is then reviewed again. Access to an out-of-court dispute settlement body (Art. 21 DSA) and to the courts remains unaffected.
Authorities and the Commission
The same address serves authorities, the European Commission and the Digital Services Coordinator (Art. 11 and 12 DSA). Languages of communication: German and English. The details are also in the imprint.
Please report only what you genuinely believe to be illegal. Anyone repeatedly sending manifestly unfounded notices will, after a warning, not be processed for a reasonable period (Art. 23 DSA).
